Ceramic tiles are acid- and alkali-resistant porcelain or stone building or decorative materials made of refractory metal oxides and semi-metal oxides through grinding, mixing, pressing, glazing, sintering and other processes. Its raw materials mainly include quartz sand, clay, etc., which are formed after high-temperature pressing. Ceramic tiles are widely used and can be used on floors, walls, outdoors, etc.
Ceramic tiles are classified in various ways, including but not limited to:
Microcrystalline stone tiles, which are only suitable for places that require strong decorative effects
Glazed tiles, which have a layer of glaze on the surface, making the tiles easier to clean and dirt-resistant. Generally used in decoration in places such as living rooms and kitchens
Full-body tiles, low-water absorption tiles with consistent color between the embryo and the surface of the brick. The main purpose of full-body tiles is to allow the exposed brick embryo to be consistent with the color of the brick surface after secondary processing such as edge grinding, chamfering, and grooving of the tiles, so as to maintain the unity of the design.
Polished tiles, polished tiles, have a smooth mirror-like surface, high hardness, and high wear resistance. They are widely used in areas that require high brightness and wear resistance.
Vitrified tiles, one of the tiles with the highest hardness, are waterproof, moisture-proof, acid-resistant, and easy to clean. They are used in places where decoration effects are required.
Marble tiles, whose surface texture imitates natural marble, are very beautiful and natural, and are popular with high price discounts.
Matt tiles, whose surface brightness is low and non-slip, are generally used in places that require non-slip, such as kitchens and bathrooms. Matt tiles are very popular with Southeast Asian customers.
Printed tiles are very designed and personalized tiles. Generally, designers like to use them to decorate scenes with unique styles.
When we choose tiles, in addition to considering the price, we should also consider the application scenarios, color matching, brand, quality issues, and natural climate issues of tiles, such as dryness and humidity. In this way, we can better choose the tiles we want and decorate our rooms.
